After failing to win the title in the World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to replace full support staff including head coach of the male cricket team. The Board has invited applications for these posts. At the same time, it has been decided that Ravi Shastri will not be able to come back as the head coach of the team.
Two years ago, during the period of Shastri, who was responsible for coaching after the controversial ending of coaching career with great spinner Anil Kumble’s Indian cricket team, the Indian team could not win any major ICC tournaments, although the team earlier this year in Australia History was definitely created by winning the Test series.
As a coach, Shastri’s team captain is Kohli’s first choice. It is believed that after the departure of Kumble, only Shastri was selected for this post when Kohli was pressurized. According to the eligibility criteria, the age of the main coach should be less than 60 years, while he has to have at least two years of international experience. In addition to the main coach, the board will appoint baiting coaches, bowling coaches, fielding coaches, physiotherapist, strand and conditioning coach and administrative manager. The last date for application for all these posts is from July 5 to 5 in the evening.
